Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons are home to some of the best sunsets in Wyoming. With towering mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and expansive valley floors, it’s always easy to catch a good sunset. So, we’ve gathered up a few of the best places to view the sunset in Jackson Hole.
Bridger Deck at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Visit The Deck at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for incredible summit views and a front-row seat to the sunset. If you are feeling ambitious, hike the 3,000 feet and four miles to the top or if you are looking for a more relaxing sunset, then take the free ride on the gondola. Either way, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views, one of the best margaritas in town, and delicious food.
Snow King Mountain
Find your seat on the lift up to Snow King Mountain for one of the most extensive views of the valley. Take in mountain views along with the sparkling lights from downtown Jackson Hole. The lift runs throughout both the summer and winter seasons.
Signal Mountain
Hop in your car and drive to the summit of Signal Mountain, located in the center of Grand Teton National Park. Resting at 7,720 feet tall, Signal Mountain is divided between the Teton Range and Jackson Lake, which opens to stunning views of jagged mountain peaks in the background and a pristine alpine lake in the foreground.
But remember as soon as the sun dips, so does the temperature. Make sure and bring a jacket (even in summer) to keep warm as you enjoy the end of the show.
